Instructors



 

Image                   Denise

Denise began clogging 19 years ago with the Conejo Valley Cloggers of Thousand Oaks, CA.  Shortly after completing the Beginner class, she began performing throughout Southern California with the Conejo Valley Cloggers Exhibition Team.  Denise currently teaches our Beginner, Recreational, Intermediate, and Advanced classes and coordinates performances and other activities for our group.  She is a member of both The Georgia Clogging Leaders Association (GCLA) and the National Clogging Organization, Inc (C.L.O.G.).  She received a Certificate of Education in 2004 and a Certified Clogging Instructor designation in 2006, both from the National Clogging Organization.  Denise has received awards for Most Outstanding Instructor at Expressions Arts, GCLA's Cathy Ebersole Memorial Award for dedication to clogging, and is 2009 Adult Miss Georgia State Clogger.  She is employed as an Instructional Designer. 

 

 

 

Image                     Lynley

 

Lynley has been clogging since she was a child and danced with her college clogging team.  She teaches our Intermediate class, particpates in our Performing Group, and coordinates activities for our group.  Lynley’s husband Bennett monitors the music at our performances.  She is empoyed as an Instructional Designer.

Leslie has been clogging with our group for 3 years.  She currently assists with our Beginner and Recreational classes, attends our Intermediate and Advanced classes, and participates in our Performing Group.  Leslie shares clogging with her family; her daughter Kaleigh dances with our group and her husband Sam is our official clogtogropher.  Leslie is employed as a Technical Communicator Consultant.

 

What would we do without...

Bennett monitors our music at performances and works with the event’s sound coordinator to make sure our songs cue up at the right time.  Bennett’s wife Lynley dances with our group.  He is employed as a Technical Communicator Specialist.

Brandon mans the microphone at our performances and works with the event’s sound coordinator to make announcements between our dances.  Brandon’s wife Kathy dances with our group.  He is employed as a Client Services Analyst. 

 Image                    Sam

Sam has earned the title of our official Clogtographer.  He is always on the lookout for the latest and greatest equipment for taking pictures and videos of our group’s performances and other activities.  Sam’s wife Leslie and daughter Kaleigh dance with our group.  He is employed as an Information Security Specialist.
